Finally, a REAL bistro like no other unfortunately exists anymore.... The starter: green and white asparagus and soft-boiled egg: top notch.
As for the blanquette: "to die for"... excellent and very hearty. Too bad, we didn't have any more room for dessert... The owner is also a very nice "REAL" bistro owner. Alas, an endangered "species"....We will come back, that's for sure.

Excellent French cuisine restaurant, offering a vast choice of both meat and fish dishes, as well as a "tasting" menu (you can choose an appetizer, a second course, dessert or cheese) at a fixed price (45.00 €). Good service. Nice place, a stone's throw from the Sorbonne University.

Recommended for those who prefer authentic, original and tasty cuisine. Meat or fish, vegan and vegetarian… there’s it all on the menu. I like the atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. Next to the Luxembourg Gardens and the Boulevard St Michel, the Odéon theater and especially the RER B, I easily take my friends there who come away pleasantly surprised. It’s a renewed pleasure for everyone. THANKS !

I’m so glad we found this gem on our last day in Paris. By far the best meal we had during our visit to France. Every dish was delicious and beautifully represented. Service was impeccable start to finish. The attention to detail and making everyone feel welcome was clear. The restaurant is pretty, the atmosphere refined but also happy and relaxed. Wonderful meal, we will definitely be back when in Paris again.

A great discovery at this address with its generous and tasty cuisine.
Whether you like meat, fish or vegetarian cuisine, the choice will be difficult because we wanted to taste everything.
The menu is very reasonably priced for a Parisian address (42€ starter-main course-dessert) and the welcome is spot on.
Go for it without hesitation

Visited February 2024. Extremely careful cuisine, the veal cooked at low temperature was succulent, as well as the velouté, the terrine, the duck, and the dessert (chestnut cream mousse!) the lunch formula at €20 is excellent value for money price. I highly recommend and I will come back to promote this address for lovers of authentic French cuisine. Chef Gilles is passionate about his profession.
