La Dariole sur Orleans

La Dariole is a restaurant that I have wanted to eat at for several years, but I was disappointed. Indeed, if the cuisine is of quality (good products, well prepared), the service is not at all up to the standard of a restaurant that aims to be gastronomic. Many examples: the waitress who asks 3 times if we have wine, but we had to ask 2 times for water; cutting bread right next to the cash register (not very classy); loud techno music in the kitchens (which we hear when we go to the toilet); and especially the noise made by the chef with his table of guests (not very respectful of other customers, and once again, not very worthy of an establishment that claims to be of high standard). In terms of value for money, I find that La Dariole has lost its reputation.

Gourmet restaurant with inventive cuisine. Beware of restricted opening hours

A nice discovery, by chance, when we were passing through Orléans. Sought-after, quality and tasty splats. I recommend it to all lovers of good food and a calm atmosphere!

We ate on the terrace and took the discovery formula, it was incredible. Great service, the team took great care. The catfish in particular was excellent, but I loved everything that was offered. Thank you again for this discovery ✨

Great restaurant! The asparagus starter and lean fish were simply delicious! Fast, efficient service and smiling and very professional waitresses :)

This meal was a pleasant first time where in a few dishes the chef surprised us and introduced new pairings. We were, among other things, pleasantly surprised by the lightness and richness of the chocolate-lapsang souchong dessert! We were pleasantly surprised by the attentive welcome of the staff and the accessibility of the chef! A safe address in Orléans!

We had a great evening at La Dariole. The boss is very friendly, the service welcoming. We had a very good dinner in a lovely historic setting - in short, an evening where we had a lot of fun. Disappointed following the change of ownership. I considered the cuisine of the Dariole more or less at the level of the Parenthesis. I didn't get there last night. It was honest but not exciting, with disappointing value for money. Exp: can and beetroot/chocolate where you collect a large piece of beetroot on your plate, without much care given to the presentation. Or apple/jelly/cider for dessert where no aroma in the mouth to balance with the apple. I felt like I was eating an apple. Pleasant welcome and always charming setting.
