Visited this resto last year and loved it. Beautiful presentation, taste etc. Not so good this time. I had to ask for water, then ask for a bread basket. I sent back a stained cup. Check out the frites with the steak[see photo]. There must have been a load of escapees in the frier from the previous batch, which were scooped up and bunged on the plate. Not even the black ones were removed. Nobody cared to comment on all the pile of 1.5cm overcooked frites left on the plate. The desserts were nice but not great. Lemon meringue was not very lemony. But looked fab! Millefeuille was alright, but needs many more layers of pastry! 1 starter, 2 mains, 2 desserts and 1 coffee cost €71. Expensive.

I recommend this restaurant with my eyes closed, a warm and smiling welcome. Everything was perfect, right down to the cocktail.

Not knowing the region, its specialties or the city, I enjoyed myself for a reasonable price, the plates were well presented and the contents were plentiful. Very good experience

Great culinary stopover! On the Chalon / La Rochelle route. We stopped off in Aubusson, a great discovery with this charming restaurant, very well received and great à la carte suggestions to try!!! Thank you and good luck

We started the evening at the comfortable bar end, furnished with tables and chairs but also plush armchairs and settees, with a very tasty cocktail created by the owner Martin in honour of his daughter Lily. We then moved to the eating end of the establishment and settled in front of our starter Saumon Gravlax, beautifully presented on a thin grey slate. Our main courses, Fondu Creusois avec frites et charcuteries et Katsu Curry de poulet, were both so tasty, extremely well prepared and so delicious. Our shared dessert was a Tarte Citron meringuée which not only looked fantastic but was also so light and so full of flavours. This evening really was an amazing culinary experience of which Martin and his team should be very proud.
