Even if you come to enjoy your delicious toast in the shade of the large trees in this enchanting setting of the Place des Corps Saints, come and see the sublime vintage decor inside! (even to the toilet!) It's good, beautiful and inexpensive!

Very pleasant setting, menu with choice both with hot or cold toast. We took 3 toasts together, it was enough. The desserts are also very good and the team welcoming. Overall fair prices.

Kisses we tasted a complete platter, perfectly perfect, accompanied by a good bottle of grignan, followed by a 3 cheese and pear toast and a croque monsieur toast. A treat on the advice of a good friend. Go there without hesitation!

The épicerie is beautifully located in a place under plane trees, which is actually a good place to stay. However, the pigeons are a real nuisance, which spoils your stay. They fly onto the tables if the food isn't cleared away in time and lurk in droves on the floor to see if anything falls down. This is pretty disgusting and unhygienic! You can feel sorry for the waiters and waitresses. The tartines are delicious, but €8 for a slice of gratinated bread without everything isn't exactly small either.

Restaurant Hiely Lucullus

01/04/2024: Restaurant located on the main artery of the center of Avignon (rue de la République). On the 1st floor of the building, restaurant room with chic and sober art deco atmosphere. It is a couple of restaurateurs who manage the establishment with a masterful hand: the husband from Avignon in the kitchen and his wife of Peruvian origin in the dining room. The marriage is also made on the plate, where the flavors of Provence complement each other with Peruvian flavors. The chef has a lot of talent, the mixtures are subtle: grilled asparagus with notes of chocolate and sweet pepper… who would have thought it? And yet it “matches” wonderfully! No false notes until dessert included! We had an excellent, timeless time. The question I ask myself: why is this restaurant not starred? He fully deserves it
