Domaine de Verchant sur Castelnau-Le-Lez

A superb stay in an enchanting place. What a garden! Special mention to the Spa where it is pleasant to stroll; the massages were quality. At “the beach” the swimming pool is magnificent and the deckchairs are very comfortable, the place is peaceful and quiet; the teams take great care. The Sunday brunch is also very, very nice! The Marcelle restaurant is great and we really enjoyed every moment spent in this place. The family atmosphere reigns and even if we did not have our children with us (this time ;-)), it is really very pleasant and exciting to see that families with young children are welcomed in this establishment. In short, don’t change too much! We will come back with great pleasure 💙… and perhaps even before the new infrastructures are available ;-)

Simply great. The location, La Plage with the view of the vineyards. When the new building is finished, it will also be 5 stars (unfortunately at the entrance to the large construction site)

Very beautiful estate, very good restaurant

Hotel setting is pleasant Pleasant and efficient service. Large, very well equipped room. The spa and fitness room are top notch. Indoor pool a little small and quickly saturated. We tried the facial which was just divine. The beach restaurant has a very good service, the cooking of the meat is not respected given the setting and the type of establishment, it is the big surprise, the quality-price ratio is absolutely not present. establishment is quite expensive compared to the quality of the dishes. A very big job of presentation. The establishment offers to sell its wine and when we are at a meal and we try to taste different wines the waiter still wonders if we should change glasses between each wine. Given the standing of the establishment this is and strange we weren't used to that. The staff is very pleasant and very very friendly. The place is very quiet in the middle of the vineyards.

We spent one night at La Maison d'hôte next to the estate... the rooms are magnificent!! and very well maintained... the decoration is current in neutral tones with quality materials... peaceful place very well run by Marie & Agueda who were adorable and very professional… ideal for a getaway for two…

We really appreciated the facilities and services of the Domaine. The welcome was perfect, the staff very attentive. The outdoor pool was closed for the season, so we took advantage of the indoor pool…perfect. The spacious and very well equipped room allowed us to enjoy very comfortable bedding and relax in the spa bath. Note the little touches such as a free bottle of wine, small biscuits and unlimited Nespresso coffee/herbal tea. The “La plage” restaurant has a somewhat high quality/price ratio. Refined dishes that can be included in the “As I Like” diet. Note, the red wine and especially the white did not seem to me to match the dishes. On the other hand, the breakfast buffet was stocked with very good products such as homemade pastries, pressed fruit juices, good charcuterie (I would have liked real little pork sausages instead of poultry). In short, overall we are very satisfied.
