Boulangerie CHEVALIER sur Paris

it’s the boulangerie around the corner, i think it used to be french ownership but changed to a (?) Indian family, looks like mother and daughter there are always long lines and they don’t really talk to you or have time to introduce the products but good heavens where to find such a thing in Paris? also interestingly, they have kugelhopfs (treat which i grew to enjoy in Alsace which i haven’t found elsewhere in Paris / Ile de France) and various jewish treats like challah. the baguette de près (which is a baguette epi) is very good and very pretty. the feuillantines look pretty but i’ve never tried them before 🙂 UPDATE: now that i have moved from this quarter i appreciate how good this bakery is, it was just annoying from what i remember how many people were lined up on saturday morning (it’s a street that receives a lot of foot traffic since it’s a touristic district of Paris)

Absolutely delicious! The baguettes and other breads are absolutely divine, they are always perfectly cooked. Also, it’s the perfect place if you wanna grab a quick bite or a quick lunch! I go there very often and I absolutely recommend!
