Authentic French restaurant with great food, service and atmosphere.

Got into town in the middle of a festival and after struggling getting to a parking garage was hoping to find a place to eat and we stumbled upon this place. The owner was pleasant and fun to talk to and our food was delicious. Hubby had steak and I had chicken and both were equally tasty. Recommend if looking for a nice, affordable dinner.

Very authentic French atmosphere with very tasty dishes and a huge selection of (and local) wines at good prices next to Rennes Cathedral. Perfect for a break and a meal. Excellent service

Loved it. The pate en croute is amazing. They use excellent quality meat and it was slightly underdone which is what you want. The pastry was flaky and was a nice compliment to the pate. The escargot were perfect, you will need more bread to sop up the sauce. You will be tempted to lick the plate. Note they have a yellow sticker on the door which is a sign for pure deliciousness.

Very hungry, we took a seat on the terrace of this charming establishment. When asking the owner it turned out that only real food is served here and that 4 p.m. is not the time for that. With appropriate brutality we were given 4 excellent colas and, after some insistence, we were allowed to explore the wine list. Still enjoyed a divine bottle of champagne and exchanged some insults with the manager who peddled his dark soul with a golden edge without any shame. As monthy python said 'i fart in your general direction'. Until next time !
