09/03/2024: Tables a little tight and therefore privacy

17/01/2024: Hello, we really enjoyed “La Table de Romane”, at Maison Burgarella during our family visit. The dishes were tasty, plentiful and of high quality. And the service, given the number of seats, the preparation etc. rather quick, and smiling. The setting is friendly, a cozy modern and bistronomic atmosphere, without going overboard. As for the dishes, I personally had a tartare which was of excellent quality, without needing much seasoning (at the gates of Aubrac in an essentially agricultural department, that would have surprised me, I must say, but it is underlined)! My relatives, for their part, had lamb rice, which was also very good, it might have deserved a bit of extra seasoning, because the lamb was a little strong, but that is subjective and in no way denotes its quality. And for desserts, a real surprise, the mille-feuille was really copious and tasty, and the chocolate fondant delicious!! Given the surprising quality of the "bistro", the next time I visit Espalion I will try "la Tour". In summary, a bistronomic restaurant that is worth the detour!
