Very good restaurant for those who like good meat.

The pros: The hearty dishes prepared with quality products, the traditional setting, the spacious room, the location in the village The -: A welcome that leaves something to be desired (you almost feel like you're annoying). Beyond the prices, certainly higher than what you can find nearby, we were more bothered by the fact that many things were extra (e.g. if you take a starter without a main course, the starter is billed to you at €21.50 instead of €12.50). For the room, impossible to touch the radiator (under penalty of being charged), fortunately we had our sleeping bags... (I specify that we did not ask to increase the temperature, a little cooled by the welcome). For the room, a kettle with a few tea bags/herbal tea would also be welcome, as well as an extra towel to dry your hands.

Typical place on the Ardèche plateau. High quality meat that melts in your mouth, delicious trout, tasty tartiflette. We are delighted and we will come back. Thank you for your welcome and your kindness. See you soon

We spent a very good evening at the restaurant, the fondue was exceptional, made with 6 tasty cheeses, Jojo's bread a marvel, the salad dressing delicious. The dessert was on point. A very nice address, with a warm welcome and careful service. We will come back with pleasure. (Our table neighbors also seemed to enjoy the cooked egg and a very appetizing hamburger!)

It’s impossible not to return to dinner at Les Calades when we’ve tried it!!! But what joy ❤️. Very well cooked local products, the butcher's pieces and skewers are a marvel and my god the homemade desserts worthy of a great pastry chef. Well done gentlemen

Coming as a family for 2 nights in Les Estables, we did not regret our choice of hotel at all. There was no snow but the warm welcome from Patrick and Joël made us forget this detail... We felt pampered during our short stay. The cuisine is delicious, and the dinner in front of the fireplace enchanted the children. Top notch Valentine’s Day meal, superbly received!! We ate very well, very good beer and wine, atypical and magnificent interior, copious melted attention! Thanks to the team for this little moment. Wood fireplace, advice for epicureans and bon vivants 😊

The Auberge des Calades is a place where you feel good, the rooms are large and comfortable, the dishes are a delight. We will come back for sure. Thank you for this impeccable welcome.
